GEOMETRIC STUDY

Geometric Study is a multidisciplinary art company founded by three siblings: PARK Sung-eun, PARK Kyu-eun, and PARK Jungwoo. Each sibling has a different area of expertise, with PARK Sung-eun specializing in dance and choreography, PARK Kyu-eun in visual art and headpiece design, and PARK Jungwoo in fashion design.

Geometric Study is a creative and innovative company that is dedicated to creating interdisciplinary art that is both visually stunning and emotionally resonant. Their collaborations with other artists and art forms demonstrate their willingness to experiment and take risks in pursuit of their artistic vision.

지오메트릭 스터디

지오메트릭 스터디는 무용, 미술, 패션, 음악을 전공한 삼남매로 구성된 그룹으로, 무용수와 안무자로 활동하는 박성은, 미술 작가 겸 헤드피스 디자이너 박규은, 패션 디자이너 박정우로 구성되었으며, 다양한 예술 장르와의 협업으로 공연과 댄스 필름을 선보이고 있다. 지오메트릭은 각 예술 장르가 모여 한 작품을 만드는 것에서 나아가 예술가들의 각기 다른 해석을 시작점으로 삼아 장르가 교차되며 이루어지는 시너지 효과를 의도한다. 장르 간 융합을 통해 작품의 폭과 깊이를 확장하여 현대예술은 어렵다는 편견을 깨고 관객에게 다가가는 것을 목표로 작업한다.

This content was produced with the support of the "2021 Online Media Art Activity Support Project" by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts and Culture Foundation. The Geometric Study Group is an artistic collective that brings together workers from various fields, including fine arts, dance, fashion, and media, to collaborate and produce works in a variety of ways around a common theme. Since 2017, this group has been creating exhibitions, performances, and dance films centered around the theme of "play". This project consists of 7 works reinterpreting the games of "four corners" and "rubber band jumping", as well as 2 videos explaining each game.

본 컨텐츠는 문화체육관광부, 한국문화예술의원회 '"2021온라인미디어 예술활동 지원사업"의 지원을 받아 제작되었습니다. 지오메트릭스터디그룹은 미술, 무용, 패션, 미디어 등 다양한 장르의 작업자들이 하나의 주제를 가지고 협업을 진행하여 다양한 방식으로 작업을 도출해내는 예술단체입니다. 본 단체는 2017년도부터 '놀이'를 주제로 전시와 공연 그리고 댄스필름을 제작해 왔습니다. 본 작업은 사방치기와 고무줄놀이에서 영감을 받아 재해석한 7편의 작업들과 각각의 놀이를 설명하는 2편의 영상으로 구성되어 있습니다.
